借款人权利与责任

我有权:

• written information on my loan obligations and information on my rights and responsibilities 作为借款人;
• a copy of my MPN either before or at the time my loan is disbursed;
• 宽限期和对其含义的解释;
• notification, if the Department of Education transfers your loan to another Servicer 未经您同意;
• a disclosure statement, received before I begin to repay my loan, that includes information about interest rates, fees, the balance I owe, and a loan repayment schedule;
• prepay my loan in whole or in part anytime without an early-repayment penalty;
  and
• 当我的贷款全部还清时的文件

我负责:

• repaying my loan according to my repayment schedule even if: I do not complete my academic program; I am dissatisfied with the education I received; or I am unable 毕业后找工作;

  • 改我的名字，
  • 更改我的社会安全号码，或者
  • change employers or my employer’s address or telephone number changes;
• making monthly payments on my loan after my grace period ends, unless I have a deferment or forbearance; and
• 通知我的贷款人或 loan 服务机构 of anything that might alter my eligibility for 延期:现存的延期或忍耐
